Addicted to Oil is a 2006 documentary directed by Kenneth Levis and produced by the Discovery Channel in which New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman reports on the United States' oil dependence.  Friedman, a three-time Pulitzer Prize-winner, also looks at various "green" technologies that could help break America's addiction. ¹
