Climate Lab is a public wiki whose content is written by volunteer users from around the world. Content is often posted to the wiki without the knowledge, cooperation, or endoresement of Climate Lab staff. From time to time, such content may include works that are protected by copyright.

Climate Lab does not tolerate copyright infringement. Our policy is to investigate all clear notices of copyright infringement, and act expeditiously to remove any content that may infringe United States or international copyright law. We provide this form so that any site visitor may provide Climate Lab with information about potential infringements, and copyright owners may issue a formal notification of infringement.

Climate Lab may also take the following actions to remedy a clear or potential copyright infringement. You may request that Climate Lab take these actions using the form below:

  • 1. Restrict, disable, or warn the user who posted the copyrighted content
  • 2. Disable viewing and/or editing of the page where the copyrighted content was posted
  • 3. Add or improve citations referencing the author/owner of the original work

Under the notice and takedown procedure established in Section 512(c)(3) of the Digital Millenium Copyright Act (U.S.), a copyright owner must submit under penalty of perjury a list of specified elements to the service provider for the notification to be considered proper. If you are the copyright owner of the works you are referencing, Climate Lab will consider this online request proper notification if you check the box directly below. Please ensure that you receive an reply email from Climate Lab acknowledging that your request has been received, or send your request via registered mail to the address below.
