Lindsay Vacek is the Grants Officer for the Center for Advanced Defense Studies (CADS), a nonprofit thinktank in Washington, DC devoted to finding peaceful, innovative solutions to issues affecting global security. She provides prospect research and fundraising support for a wide range of initiatives including the Future Energy Program, which promotes access to clean energy as a source of universal diplomatic gain rather than a zero-sum competition.

Lindsay worked with the Climate Lab team from January to December 2009, assisting in content development and providing web maintenance and development support. She has previously interned with the National Biodiesel Board as well as Piedmont Biofuels, a biodiesel cooperative promoting the sustainable use of resources.

Lindsay has a BA from Brandeis University in International Studies and the Global Environment.
