Tim Whitehouse, a member of Climate Lab's Advisory Council, is an attorney and environmental consultant specializing in issues related to trade, the environment and climate change. He has managed complex international projects and events in Canada, the United States, Mexico, El Salvador, France, and South Africa and coauthored of a number of reports on issues such as green building in North America, the illegal wildlife trade, the management of hazardous waste, and environmental management systems. From 2002-2007, he was Head of the Law and Policy Program at the North American Commission for Environmental Cooperation in Montreal, Canada. From 1992 to 2002, he was an attorney-advisor with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C. where he specialized first in water and wetlands issues and then in U.S-Mexico issues.

He has a J.D. and B.A. in History from Emory University and an M.A. in French Language and Civilization from New York University.
